In August of 2023, I will be entering my 27th year of teaching, 20th year at Patton. I will be teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. I was raised in Leavenworth, graduated from Leavenworth High School, and continued to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Middle/Secondary Mathematics Education and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas.

The Chapter 1 Mid-Chapter Assessment is Monday, Oct. 5. The students have the review p. 66: 8-48 even due Monday. They can also work odd problems in sections 1-1 to 1-4 and check their answers in the back of the book or work IXL lessons corresponding with their textbook. (I showed them how to find these on Friday).
