A little about me ...

I began teaching at Patton Junior High School in August of 1983 after completing my BSE Degree from the University of Kansas. In addition, I also hold a Masters Degree from Emporia State University. This year I will be teaching English 7, Drama 8/9, and Drama 7. I enjoy education because it’s a constantly changing field. I’ve traveled from chalkboards, overheads, and typewriters to SMART Boards and computers of various shapes and sizes. It’s been a whirlwind at times, but it’s also been a great adventure! FortunateIy, I love to learn. I'm a firm believer that a day isn't complete until a person has learned at least one new piece of information.
