6th Hour 7th Grade Science Assignments

Work on binding book with decorative covers.  Work on ixl section C in math OR section O in science.  

See Google classroom for a complete description of assignment.  

Students will finish reading lesson 3 and do the questions at end of the lesson.  

Students will read the first 4 pages of lesson 3 on materials moving in and out of the cell.  Students will answer questions in the reading and discuss as a class.  

Finish drawing the cover for your math and science books.  Mrs. Elder will laminate the papers and we will attach them to your book next week with duct tape.  If you have some duct tape at home to spare, please bring it with you on Monday!

TODAY WE WILL COLOR A COVER FOR YOUR MATH & SCIENCE BOOKS. BRING DUCT TAPE TOMORROW TO ATTACH COVER TO YOUR BOOK!

Finish reading lesson one pages 8 - 11.  Do the vocabulary, reading checks, literacy connections as you read.  

Take home parent letter packet, have parents and either email me stating they have read the information or sign and take a picture of the form to return by email.  

Go to classlink & click on Savvas Realize icon. You will have two assignments today and I will help you as this is our first time on the electronic resource. Take the short pretest linked on Savvas Realize website. When finished, listen to the eText assignment. We will discuss in a few minutes. In addition, we will watch a video about the cell theory & discuss. I am super excited about our first real day in science class!
