Algebra I (Period 6)

Course Description

Students will explore concepts including Solving Equations and Inequalities, Linear Equations and Graphs, Systems of Equations and Inequalities, Exponents, Polynomials and Factoring, and Quadratic Equations. The Kansas College and Career Readiness Standards along with differentiation guide instruction in this course.

Please bring calculators, books, and other materials to check in on Tuesday, May 18. 

Algebra Final, Wednesday, May 12

There is a list posted on Google classroom that identifies the topic of each question on the final and where to find it in the textbook. 
Students were given a practice final review sheet to complete over the last couple of class periods. 
There is a kahoot (80 questions) posted on google classroom as well. 

Algebra Test Monday, April 19

Chapter 9 Test. Practice Test available on McGraw Hill App. Students can also work odd problems in their textbooks and check their answers in the back.

Algebra Test Thursday, Feb. 18

The Algebra Test on Solving Systems of Equations by Graphing, Substitution, and Elimination will be Thursday, Feb. 18. Students can do additional practice using the IXL lessons that tie directly to our textbooks. Log in to IXL, go to Algebra, and scroll down to the section labeled with a "U".

Algebra Mid-Chapter Assessment Monday, Oct. 5

The Chapter 1 Mid-Chapter Assessment is Monday, Oct. 5. The students have the review p. 66: 8-48 even due Monday. They can also work odd problems in sections 1-1 to 1-4 and check their answers in the back of the book or work IXL lessons corresponding with their textbook. (I showed them how to find these on Friday).
