Lunch Bunch!

This year I will be holding lunch bunch groups, which are an effective way for students to participate in small group counseling without missing class time. These are a great way for students to meet others their own age that share common concerns and they create an opportunity for students to see that they are not alone with their feelings and experiences. These groups will last 8-10 weeks and will take place once a week during lunch.

For any student who either expresses interest in these groups, or that I feel could benefit, I will send home a permission slip for parents to sign and return. This way if you have any questions or concerns you can contact me prior. The first group will be starting in the next couple weeks and will have a focus on anxiety. Other groups may involve grief, self-esteem, anger management, social skills, or a variety of topics combined.
