Welcome! My name is Anna Davila. I teach English Language Arts 8 here at Patton Junior High.  This is my fifth full year with USD 207. Previously, I held the Power Lab position here at Patton, working to help our Tier 3 Math and Reading students.
I grew up in suburban Maryland and graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in 2003 with a B.A. in English Literature. I earned an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Xavier University in 2012. I've been in education since 2004 and I've taught Reading/ELA from grades 6 to 10.
My husband and I have been married for 19 years and we have four active boys who range from ages 10 to 17. As a military spouse, I understand the stress of frequent moving and the toll it takes on young learners. My mission is to cultivate critical thinkers and empower military children to conquer any obstacles they may face.
I can't wait to partner with you this year!
