About Me

Hello! My name is Kara Coyne and I am the Power Lab Teacher for Patton Junior High this school year. This will be my fifth year in education. I have taught in Georgetown, Texas for four years in 8th grade Language Arts and an elective course. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and am pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. I strive to build relationships with students in meaningful ways and encourage them to be lifelong learners.
