Due:

Assignment

A number of students did not have the one-page story extension of A Wrinkle in Time that was due today in class.  The story is based on Mrs Whatsit's final words in the novel, "Oh, my darlings, I'm sorry we don't have time to say good-bye to you properly.  You see we have to --".  If Skyward shows the assignment as "missing" with no grade, then it has been handed in.  If Skyward shows the assignment as "missing" with a zero, then it was not handed in to me.  The students were instructed to hand in a hard copy of the story, so placing it in Google Classroom did not meet the requirements.

Assignment

This actually isn't an assignment, it is a copy of the e-mail I just sent through Skyward.

Good Afternoon.

I apologize for the short notice, but some things just can’t be helped.  Tomorrow (Tuesday) all students will take the Insight reading assessment in English class.  This assessment, along with the data from last week’s STAR assessment, will help give me a stronger picture of the reading skills of your child(ren).  The Insight has an audio component to it, so please make sure your child(ren) comes to school with his/her ear buds.

I apologize if this message is duplicated by one sent to the entire student body.

Thank you.  Have a wonderful evening.

Ms. Paradies
