1. I thought I'd send out a quick overview of what will be happening in Spanish classes over the next couple of weeks. We are taking part in a national challenge during Wooly Week. There are over 4,000 Spanish teachers (and their classes) taking part in this activity.
2. As we have implemented the Señor Wooly Curriculum in Spanish classes, the students have enjoyed the new approach to learning Spanish.
3. Wooly Week is a one-two week activities-based learning experience. Sr. Wooly will be releasing a new video during this time. Students will be meeting various challenges. There are many activities including drawing, making predictions, scavenger hunt within the curriculum, Flat Billy, dressing in character, decorating baked goods (at home) to look like a SW character, choreographing a dance, reenacting (& recording) part of one of the videos, etc.
4. All of these activities fall under the guidelines for CI (Comprehensible Input) and our ACTFL Learning Targets and National Standards.
This is our first year participating in Wooly Week!
