8th Grade Science Assignments

Ocean Conveyor Belt Questions:

The students had class time today to watch the video, read the short article, and answer the discussion questions over the role of the ocean conveyor belt. The assignment is relatively short, but the classes were reduced in time, so I've posted the questions, and article, here for those that need to complete the work and submit on Google Classroom under the Ocean Conveyor Belt classwork assignment. The questions are due tomorrow, first thing, as we are getting into the chapter during class tomorrow!

No homework tonight. Tomorrow, we're going to the Dome! 

 

Test over the unit is coming up - next Thursday. We will have a study guide and review day beforehand. 

 

Students with missing work (including the Ch. 12 Guided Reading on Google Classroom, the vocab. quiz, or vocab. notecards) have until the end of the unit (the test) to turn in missing, late assignments for 70% of the original grade. Check with me for what you're missing!!

There is NO homework for tonight, however, there IS a QUIZ tomorrow on the seven vocabulary terms from Ch. 12. 

Remember: bring a notebook, something to write with, and Chromebook everyday!
