English/Language Arts 8 (Period 2)

Course Description

English/Language Arts in Eighth Grade focuses on the five critical areas of the content area: Reading Literature, Reading for Information, Language, Speaking & Listening, and Writing. Assignments will seek to encourage critical thinking and a deeper analysis of grade-level texts. 
Our textbook, Collections, will be the primary resource for lessons and assignments. All assignments can be found (and submitted) via Google Classroom.
